Jackson James
Jackson's mother was rescued by Aus Hair of The Dog in 2015, when she unfortunately found herself pregnant and in a pound. Mum was showered in love, and gave birth to 6 healthy puppies, one of whom was this beautiful boy, Jackson.
Jack now lives very happily with his slightly older sister Ruby-Rose (a feisty black cat who adores her little brother), and a much older Dalmatian sister, Princess Tiffany, who is like a mother to him. He enjoys wrestling and receiving belly scratches from his human mother, snuggles with Tiffany and nibbling on Ruby-Rose's neck to show her affection.

Loki
Loki came to Rescue after his humans became homeless. He was the sweetest Husky, full off energy but also loving a snuggle. He made a feature at this years Trivia Night and he was the goodest boy! He found his fur-ever home with another beautiful husky.
Three Musketeers
Three beautiful puppies found their way into the Hair of the Dog’s Hands just before Barkin Mad Ultra this year. Dobby (kelpie brown pup), Mertle (black and white) and Peaches (cream and tan) were aussie shepard cross puppies who needed some loving and helping hand to find their furever homes.
After vaccinating and desexing these beautiful pups they successfully found all beautiful homes!

Rudy
Rudy was a border collie dog. He found his way into rescue last year around Easter. His previous owners found him to be super high energy and they made the hard decision to rehome him. As soon as he entered rescue it was clear that he was here to stay within the rescue. Harry who is part of the dog rescue found his running buddy and so Rudy is a foster fail!
Theo
Short for Theodore. This loveable bouncy 3 year old found his furever home in 2025. He’s a border collie x jack russell (mostly border)! He loves to run and fetch and bounce and play. He found his furever home after 3 months searching. He now lives his best life exploring beaches, 4wd driving tracks and sitting by campfires.
